To allow the protection for the Propeller a high alloy Copper Alloy Band is attached around the shaft. Contact between the Shaft and the Hull is by way of Graphite Bushes. For smaller vessels a protective casing is supplied to make it water proof from Bilge waters. Similarly the Rudder protection is ensured by the fitting of a bonding cable which is attached to the Rudder Stock and Hull.
